Its like this.
a man went fishing. he brough lots of bait, so he was damn sure he would catch a nice big fish.
Once he arrived at the spot, he sat down on his stool, but didnt get wait there. he tried his best to catch a fish, and thanks to his efforts, a fish got hooked on. he reeled in the fish, and to his surprise and joy, it was the biggest fish he had ever seen. it was beautiful. he held it in his arms, admiring it, and fell in love with it. then all of a sudden, his rod caught on another fish. he reeled it in, and once again, to his joy, it was a similar fish. it, too, was beautiful. But the man could only bring back one.
He sat there thinking and thinking, leaving the two fish swimming in a bucket of water. while was he thinking of which to bring home, he fed them to keep them alive, changed to water to clean it, so the fish would be healthy, and other things to make sure the fish were at their optimum condition as humanely possible.
In the end, he realized that he would suffer too much heart ache if he left one fish alone, and bring the other home, so he released both fish back into the sea, which was much less painful for him, and packed up his things and went home. The fish swam happily away, relieved of the stress of captivity, and he never saw them again.
just like you.
